so...that和such...that的区别 初中英语结果状语从句的用法

在句子中作结果状语的从句称为结果状语从句，一般置于句末。引导结果状语从句的从属连词主要有：

1so... that... 的用法

在so... that... 结构中，so是副词，修饰形容词或副词，that引导结果状语从句。so...that...常用于以下结构：

Diana is so friendly thatwe all like to play with her. 黛安娜很友好，我们都愿意和她玩。

There are so many booksin the bookshop thathe can’t decide which one to buy.

书店里有这么多书以至于他无法决定买哪一本。

He got so little money thathe had to live on welfare. 他挣钱很少，不得不靠救济生活。

注意 little表示“小”时，要用such。

He is sucha little boy thathe can’t lift the box.

他是这么小的一个男孩，提不起那个箱子。

拓展 在so... that...结构中，当that引导的结果状语从句是否定句时，可转化为too... to...结构，当that引导的结果状语从句是肯定句时，可转化为enough... to... 的结构。

→The box was tooheavy for him tocarry.这个箱子太重了，他搬不动。

在such...that...结构中，such是形容词，修饰名词或名词短语，that引导结果状语从句。such...that...常用于以下结构：

They are such honest boys thatwe all trust them.

这些男孩如此诚实，我们都信任他们。

We had such terrible weather thatwe didn’t get there on time.

提示“such + a（n）+形容词+可数名词单数+ that从句”可与“so +形容词+ a（n）+可数名词单数+ that从句”转换，要注意不定冠词的位置。

拓展除了与so和such搭配引导结果状语从句以外，that本身也可以引导结果状语从句。
