【考点点拨】

★动词不定式可以在句中作主语、表语、定语、宾语、状语和补足语。动词不定式没有人称和数的变化，但有时态和语态的变化。

1.动词不定式作主语时，如果不定式太长，常用it作形式主语，将真正的不定式主语放在句末。

2.在ask, invite, like, want, wish, would like等动词后，常用不定式作宾补，to不能省略；但是在feel, listen, hear, let, make have, see, look, watch, notice等动词后面用作宾语补足语的动词不定式的to一般要省去。另外，help后面的不定式作宾补，to可省也可不省。

3.不定式作后置定语，与被修饰词之间常有逻辑上的动宾关系，如果这个不定式的动词是不及物动词，它后面就必须跟相应的介词。

4.疑问代词who, what, which和疑问副词when, where, how等常和动词不定式连用，在句中作主语、表语或宾语。

★v-ing形式在句中可作主语、表语、宾语、定语、状语和宾语补足语。

1.v-ing形式作主语时，谓语动词用单数形式。

2.enjoy, finish, keep, mind, miss及practise等词后，只接v-ing形式。

3.下列词组后必须接v-ing形式：be good at, feel like, be busy with, be afraid of, stop … from …, can’t help, keep on, be fond of, be worth, be tired of。

4.有些动词后既可以接v-ing形式，也可以接动词不定式，但是二者意思差别很大。如：

stop to do sth. 停止某件事，目的是去做另一件事

stop doing sth. 停止正在做或经常做的事

forget to do sth 忘记要去做某事（此事未做）

forget doing sth. 忘记曾做了某事 （此事已做）

remember to do sth. 记住去做某事 （未做）

remember doing sth. 记住做过某事（已做）

go on to do sth. 一件事做完了又去做另一件事

go on doing sth. 一件事没做完继续做下去

★v-ed形式可在句中作状语、定语和宾语补足语等。

1. v-ed形式作定语时，与被修饰词之间是动宾关系。一般情况，v-ed形式短语作定语放在被修饰词之后，单个的v-ed形式做定语放在被修饰词之前。

2. v-ed形式作宾语补足语时，与宾语之间是动宾关系，表明动作已经完成。
